So, once again playing close to our hometown, it´s been quite a few months since this. I think everybody was really looking forward to this because it would for sure end out, going out with all our schoolmates from steyr. Arriving at about half past 4 at the venue we are all still quite exhausted because of our trip to Slovenia the night before. But at least we managed to be in time. The soundcheck was really relaxed and we had quite a plenty of time to figure everything out. Then Wedekind and Suneral also arrived at the Röda. We had great vegan food in the backstage room and then it was already time to watch Suneral getting this evening started. Really good show, me and Bernd had quite a lot of fun watching the show while drinking some beer. Then it was the turn of Wedekind to enter the stage. For them it was quite hard because the major part of the audience seemed to be more into Hardcore than into their music. Although they really did a great job the people did not really get into it. Then we started our set just as usual. The venue was quite packed and we all tried to do our best. Maybe tonight it was a little bit too much, because after finishing the second song of our set Klaus was already heavily bleeding. He got hit by Stefans guitar right on the back of his head. It looked really bad and soon his white shirt turned into red sparkled... although he was really in pain he kept on singing for the rest of the show as if nothing had happened. He even managed to do a frontflip.
After the show he drove to the hospital. He got, I think, 3 stitches and they told him that he had concussion. Quite bad...
The rest of the evening was still quite funny. Finally I ended up standing in front of the venue at 6 in the morning with no place to sleep and nobody opening the venue door... But in the end I had the pleasure to sleep at Guschi´s (NEVERBEENFAMOUS ) home! So in this way thanks again for sharing your bed… with 3 persons ;-)
